Since the 2022 racing season, Sprint Filter has been in collaboration with Toyota Gazoo Racing Argentina, the builder of all Toyota Corolla GRS TCR race cars. Following comprehensive bench testing of Sprint Filter’s KD1TCR intake system, Toyota Gazoo Racing Argentina has officially approved this high-performance intake kit for optimal performance across all Toyota Corolla GRS TCR vehicles in the TCR Sud America and subsequent national TCR series.

Until the 2017 Sprint Filter has been the technical supplier of the WTCC, then when the Championship has been replaced with the WTCR, Sprint Filter is the sole technical supplier of the carbon intake and the air filter of all the Honda
Racing TCR cars
Sprint Filter and Aprilia Racing have enjoyed an ongoing technical collaboration since 2015, started on MotoGP and SBK programs. Aprilia Racing exclusively uses Sprint Filter’s air filtration solutions across all its official racing endeavors. The performance and engine protection provided by our P08 F1-85 air filters have been so noteworthy that they are now factory-installed in Aprilia’s Limited Edition models, such as the RSV4 X, Tuono X, and X Trenta.
Sprint Filter is the OE supplier of the most exclusive superbike road bikes until 2013 and is also supplier from the same period of Ducati Performance which add the Sprint Filter P08 air filter to their exhaust kits for some road superbikes.
Current production vehicles are typically equipped with paper filters, while performance vehicles used oil-soaked cotton or sponge. An air filters job is to guarantee good airflow while preventing significant particles from ending up in the engine. These two operations naturally oppose each other and that is where Sprint Filters’ polyester filtering fabric takes a leap above the rest.
Polyester fabric is extremely permeable, stable and is not affected by folding during construction. Cotton filters, on the other hand, have a weaving that depends on the overlapping of numerous layers, leading to poor flow in some areas and ineffective filtration in others.

All these rates significantly outperform the 76.42% efficiency of 4-layer oil-soaked cotton.All Sprint Filter media consist of either a single polyester membrane or a single non-woven fabric, ensuring no unwanted material separation.
The construction precision of the polyester filter offers equal filtration that remains constant over time. By contrast, a cotton filter has extremely variable openings, from just a few microns to several tenths. The homogeneous and compact filtering element consist of a thin filament of polyester fabric forming a mesh of a dozen of microns, capable of trapping all significant particles and ensuring a very high airflow.
This means that initially the cotton filter has a low filtering power (equal to 50% of a contaminant with a range of between 5 and 200 μ). Only after a dust cake forms on the surface does the filtering power increase up to 80% of the abovementioned range, but there is a consequent drastic pressure drop. In short, a cotton filter has low filtering power for half of its lifetime, while for its remaining lifetime it has a very high-pressure drop (Less airflow). Because of its uniform structure, the Sprint Filter air filter ensures less airflow disturbance, also thanks to the exclusive and patented filtering material in single- layer polyester that minimizes turbulence over the entire air filter section, thus guaranteeing perfect operation of the air box.

Sprint Filter OE replacement air filters are produced in five filtration versions, (P08, P037, P08F1-85, T12 and T14) allowing the filtering element to be replaced without any modification and designed for perfect interchangeability with the original air filter.
Sprint Filter universal air filters are produced with five types of fabric (P08, P037, P08F1- 85, T12 and T14), depending on the type of use. They can be installed by eliminating the original filter holder and can be placed directly on the throttle body or using adapters so they can be housed under protection in an area where they can take in fresh air. This configuration is recommended for extreme performance use.
Sprint Filter offers a range of systems crafted from premium materials and manufactured through superior processes. Our dynamic intake kits require the removal of the original filter holder and should be attached to the throttle body using pipes not included in the kit. Our flagship product, KD1TCR, has received official endorsements for use in both World and National Championships by Honda through Jas Motorsport, and by Toyota through Toyota Gazoo Racing Argentina.

The P037 is the only air filter in the world with water resistant characteristics. The weaveof the fabric guarantees a filtration power of 37 microns, that combined with its water resistant properties, makes this type of filter particularly suitable for use in demanding conditions. Moreover, the guaranteed airflow of 4,500 l/m2sec. ensures nearly the same power increases of the P08.
