Founded in 1952, Sprint Filter has built a stellar reputation for crafting innovative air filters and intake systems that consistently deliver high performance. The company has collaborated closely with top-tier manufacturers and teams, placing an unrelenting focus on the constant research and development of state-of-the-art filtering materials and air intake technologies. This seven-decade-long journey has enabled Sprint Filter to develop a range of products that can meet a wide array of needs: from straightforward performance filters designed to replace OEM units to more complex intake systems fabricated from materials like carbon fiber, fiberglass, and various plastics. Each product from Sprint Filter features our uniquely engineered, micro-calibrated polyester filtering elements.
A decade ago, in 2010, Sprint Filter began a transformative modernization of its manufacturing facilities, making a strategic entry into the motorcycle market. Today, the brand enjoys the trust of over 70% of MotoGP teams and serves as the OEM supplier for select Ducati and Aprilia sportbike models. In addition, Sprint Filter is a key player in the International TCR series and national TCR circuits. As of 2019, the company proudly serves as the technical supplier for all Honda Civic Type-R TCR and Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce TCR vehicles. Beginning in 2023, this will extend to include all Toyota Corolla GRS TCR models. In the past half-decade, Sprint Filter’s P08, P037, and P08F1-85 models have set the industry standard in both aftermarket and racing sectors. In a pivotal move in October 2018, the company overhauled its automotive air filter and intake manufacturing processes to expand its product line, thereby catering to a broader range of vehicles on today’s roads.

Sprint Filter has been a committed technical partner with Aprilia Racing in MotoGP since the year 2015. Beginning in the 2023 season, our partnership has been extended to also include Aprilia Racing’s satellite team, Team RNF. As a result, all four Aprilia motorcycles that compete in the MotoGP championship are exclusively equipped with Sprint Filter air filters. This long-standing collaboration underscores the trust and satisfaction that Aprilia Racing has in the performance and engine protection capabilities of our products.

Sprint Filter has been a sponsor of the Prima Pramac Racing Team since 2021. As Ducati’s Satellite Team in MotoGP, Prima Pramac Racing consistently ranks among the top teams and bikes in the premier class of motorcycle racing. Moreover, in 2022 with the rider Jorge Martin, the team has set the highest top speed record for a motorcycle at 363.6 km/h on the Mugello Circuit’s straightaway.

Since the 2022 racing season, Sprint Filter has been in collaboration with Toyota Gazoo Racing Argentina, the builder of all Toyota Corolla GRS TCR race cars. Following comprehensive bench testing of Sprint Filter’s KD1TCR intake system, Toyota Gazoo Racing Argentina has officially approved this high-performance intake kit for optimal performance across all Toyota Corolla GRS TCR vehicles in the TCR Sud America and subsequent national TCR series.

Sprint Filter and Jas Motorsport has a longterm technical cooperationship. Until the 2017 Sprint Filter has been the technical supplier of the WTCC, then when the Championship has been replaced with the WTCR, Sprint Filter is the sole technical supplier of the carbon intake and the air filter of all the Honda Racing TCR cars

Sprint Filter and Aprilia Racing have enjoyed an ongoing technical collaboration since 2015, started on MotoGP and SBK programs. Aprilia Racing exclusively uses Sprint Filter’s air filtration solutions across all its official racing endeavors. The performance and engine protection provided by our P08 F1-85 air filters have been so noteworthy that they are now factory-installed in Aprilia’s Limited Edition models, such as the RSV4 X, Tuono X, and X Trenta.

Sprint Filter is the OE supplier of the most exclusive superbike road bikes until 2013 and is also supplier from the same period of Ducati Performance which add the Sprint Filter P08 air filter to their exhaust kits for some road superbikes.

Current production vehicles are typically equipped with paper filters, while performance vehicles used oil-soaked cotton or sponge. An air filters job is to guarantee good airflow while preventing significant particles from ending up in the engine. These two operations naturally oppose each other and that is where Sprint Filters’ polyester filtering fabric takes a leap above the rest.
